Arc Table by Foster + Partners for Molteni & C.

The Arc Table by Foster + Partners, found on Design Boom, was created for Molteni & C. Featuring what appears to be a simple saddle function base in Ductal (looks similar to concrete) in three different shades and four sizes, the table is perfect for everything from side table to dining. The low iron content removes the typical green hue but I’m not a fan of the etched edge. The NYT claims the feature creates a floating effect but I couldn’t find any pictures to back their claims. Maybe if you visit the Molteni & C flagship, where the table is available starting at $4,940, you can see if the visual effect is real.
